Sarah Fiete is a writer based out of New York City. A born and raised Midwesterner, she grew up in Dublin, Ohio and attended Denison University in nearby Granville. She graduated with a BA in English (Creative Writing Concentration) and minors in both Music Composition and Theatre. She went on to receive an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in their Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
Her work has been performed in New York City at Dixon Place, 54 Below, The Duplex, The Players Theatre, and other venues. In 2018, she wrote the music and co-wrote the lyrics for Anthony Clune’s “Pizza the Musical,” a short film that played on a loop at the Museum of Pizza in Brooklyn. She is a co-founder of Midnight Oil Collective, an arts investment and production cooperative, and the founder of its partner, Tesleon Media. She has also worked for Ambassador Theatre Group as Hudson Theatre's Theatre Coordinator, first joining as a member of the renovation team in 2017 to reopen Broadway’s oldest theatre as a boutique playhouse once again.
